Joe Leane

Joe Leane has lived in Mount Prospect since 1998, and was first elected to the Board of Education on April 1, 2003. He is currently serving his third consecutive four-year term. During that time Leane has served as President and Vice President.

After graduating from Maine East High School in 1982, Leane received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Leane is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Illinois.

Leane is a co-owner of Hazard, Keefe & Leane Engineering, a local consulting engineering company. Leane is a member of various engineering societies.

Joe and his wife Lori have three daughters who attend Lincoln Middle School and Prospect High School.
