Lincoln Hosts Eco-Activities during the month of April

During the month of April, Lincoln will host a wide variety of Eco-focused activities to raise awareness and take action. Throughout the month, gym shoes may be recycled in conjunction with the Nike "Reuse-a-shoe" campaign. All other shoes may be donated to our collection for "Soles for Souls". Students are invited to participate in an Eco-Open Gym after school on Friday, April 13th. Student will participate in an array of games and activities with an environmental and recycling theme. We will also host an Eco-Film after school on Friday, April 27th for students. Lastly, throughout the month, we have planned other activities, such as a "Power-Down" day and an Recycled Art project, to engage students in Earth friendly behaviors. These events are supported by the dedication and hard work of our PTA Chair, Mrs. Anna Pentikainen.
