Lions Park students cast their votes in mock election
Oct. 4 was Election Day at Lions Park School! The students visited real voting booths and cast their votes regarding an all-important issue -- which song should be played when the new Lions Park mascot makes his first appearance at Roar & Run on Oct. 11. Thanks to the Lions Park Elementary PTO's Civic Engagement Committee and the League of Women Voters - Arlington Heights, Mount Prospect, & Buffalo Grove for making this fun and educational opportunity available to the students and helping them see how easy and important it is to take part in the voting process.
