Westbrook walks around the world to raise funds for PTO
Students in preschool through first grade walked around the world at Westbrook on Oct. 3. It was their annual PTO fundraiser, and this year the walk featured creative stops like Niagara Falls and the Great Barrier Reef. The young explorers had their passports stamped by volunteers at each location. Many family members and community members came out to cheer on the walkers. Walk for Westbrook raises funds for things like PTO-sponsored school assemblies, family events, free books for each student, learning resources for students and materials for teachers.
