First grade marks an incredible time of growth for children, and we're thrilled to have your child join us on this exciting journey! In first grade, your child will explore a world of wonders through language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and more. Our passionate teachers are dedicated to creating a vibrant and supportive environment where your child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. But that's not all! We believe in the power of collaboration between home and school. With open communication and your active involvement, we'll work hand-in-hand to nurture your child's development and lay the groundwork for a lifetime of learning. 1st Grade Enrollment 2024-2025  - NEW to WESTBROOK 
(Please note: this is NOT for currently enrolled students.)

Registration process: 
In-Person Residency Verification
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must bring the following documents to the school to establish residency and complete enrollment forms. 

  1. The child’s original birth certificate (The office staff will make a copy and return your original.)
  2. A copy of a current lease, a monthly mortgage statement, OR a current tax bill.
  3. Two different current utility bills for two consecutive recent months (This is a total of 4 bills)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 
  • This is for NEW to WESTBROOK students only; NOT for current WB kindergarteners who will be in 1st grade next school year.
  • Students must be 6-years-old on or by September 1, 2024 to be registered for 1st Grade for the 2024-2025 school year.

Hard plastic pencil box (approximately 8”x 6”, no bigger than a Kleenex box)

Plastic pocket folders with fasteners/center prongs - (green, red, yellow, purple and blue)

Spiral notebooks, wide-lined – yellow

Expo dry erase markers (black)

Pump Hand Sanitizer 10 oz.  (regular scented GermX or Purell)
