District 57 student fees are structured around the categories of curriculum, supplies and other fees, transportation, extracurricular activities, lunch program, summer school, preschool, and child care. The foundation of this structure is the belief that student fees should cover, in whole or in part, the costs associated with providing textbooks, instructional supplies and materials, and educational services.
All fees are reviewed and approved annually by the Board of Education.
Refunds for instructional and transportation fees will be issued on a quarterly basis upon request.
- 75% refund from the first day through October 31
- 50% refund from November 1 through December 31
- 25% refund from January 1 through March 31
Please note that refunds will not be granted if outstanding fees remain on the student’s account.
