CHANGES TO STUDENT'S ROUTINE

CHANGES TO YOUR CHILD'S DISMISSAL ROUTINE
If there are any changes or updates to be made regarding your child's dismissal routine, please inform your child's teacher and the Westbrook Office at [email protected]..

Use this form to communicate changes in your child's dismissal routine:

Please note that when arranging play dates, please have a parent pick up the children involved. It is too difficult to have kindergarten children riding buses that are not part of their regular routine. We are working hard to keep all of the children safe and we are still establishing relationships with bus drivers and the adults involved in arrival and dismissal procedures. Thank you for your understanding and support. We are aware that at the other school buildings it is allowed and we understand that as children age, they are more capable of advocating for themselves. Thank you again for your understanding.

BUS BULLETIN

Would you like to know when your student’s bus is going to be late? First Student, the transportation provider for Mount Prospect School District 57, is offering Bus Bulletin notification system to notify parents/guardians when there are bus delays of 10 minutes or more.

For more information or to sign up and start receiving notifications, please visit:

www.busbulletin.com/parents

Route information is on your student’s bus pass.
For registration help, contact First Student at (847) 635-9877.

CELL PHONE POLICY

NO CELL PHONE USE WHILE DRIVING IN SCHOOL ZONES
Illinois law (Senate Bill 72) prohibits cell phone use in a school zone. Your undivided attention will contribute to the safety of children and staff.

PETS POLICY

For the safety of the students and staff, please do not bring your pet when dropping off or picking up your child. Even the friendliest of pets will protect their owner if they feel they are in danger, many young children are afraid of them, and students may be affected by allergies. The presence of an animal can create an uncomfortable situation for parents and staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
