Registering your child for kindergarten includes the following three steps:
Step 1. Online PRE-ENROLLMENT
All families are REQUIRED to click on this enrollment LINK (please contact the office for more information) to provide information prior to scheduling your in-person residency verification appointment (Step 2). Step 1 must be completed before moving to Step 2.
Step 2. In-Person Residency Verification
Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must bring the following documents to Westbrook School during their scheduled appointment time to establish residency:
- The child’s original birth certificate (Office staff will make a copy & return the original.)
- A copy of a current lease, monthly mortgage statement, OR current tax bill.
- Two different current utility bills for two consecutive months (total of 4 bills) OR two consecutive months of the same bill and a current Drivers License.
Step 3. Online Registration
The final step of the enrollment process occurs in late spring of 2026. District 57 will email families with a SNAP code and a link to the registration website. Residency verification must be complete in order for parents/guardians to receive the code and link.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Students must be 5 years old on or by September 1, 2026, to be registered for kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.
