School facilities are available only to school district student groups and school district school-related organizations and local governments during non-school hours. The use of school facilities for school purposes has precedence over all other uses. Persons on school premises must abide by the District’s conduct rules at all times.
Requests by third parties to use school facilities present a number of legal issues and have been the subject of a number of court cases. After a thorough analysis of the legal ramifications associated with third party use of school facilities, the district has decided to remain a non-public forum. As such, use of school facilities is limited to the groups as outlined in the paragraph above. We regret any inconvenience this might cause.
To apply for facility use, complete the facility use application, provide a certificate of insurance meeting the requirements listed on the reverse side of the application, and submit the application to the school office of the facility required. Upon approval of the principal, your event will be scheduled.
